Rahul drives business excellence based on an analytical approach. He has developed systems and methods to use analytics and decision sciences to drive business performance improvement.

His current work is on systematic and scaled use of analytics to drive business value. This work builds upon his experience in building and managing analytics & operations centers for Cisco and McAfee in Bengaluru.

While at Cisco he co-authored a book, “Business Analytics: A Practitioner’s Guide”, published by Springer in its International Series in Operations Research & Management Science. This book provides a guide to businesses on how to use analytics to help drive from ideas to execution. Analytics used in this way provides end-to-end lifecycle support for business and helps during all stages of management decision-making and execution. At IBM Consulting he co-authored an IBM Redbook on Business Architecture in 2001.

He has experience in management and operations in large companies, startups and consulting. Rahul has worked in Cisco, McAfee, IBM Consulting, and the India Railways, and also with startups in the US and in India.
